Sweater Pillows and Boot Socks

The bathroom is coming along SLOWLY.  In the interim, I have an easy cheap project to show you.  While perusing Good Will (one of my favorite past times) I saw these two sweaters.  Both of the sweaters cost $7.99 total.  (FYI Good Will does not charge any tax).

I am sure you have seen other people make pillows from old sweaters.  It really is as easy at it looks.  First I cut off the sleeves (see project below). Then I cut the sweater body to make a square or rectangle.

Flip the pillow form inside out and sew up the seam.  The second sweater was easier because I just made the pillow as wide as the sweater and only had to stitch the top and bottom.  Stuff it and sew the seam shut.  Bam! Pillow! (Albeit, slightly bumpy, but that will work itself out.)

Remember the sleeves I cut off?  This is so easy it's ridiculous.  Put your foot through the sleeve bottom.  Bam!  Boot socks!

Sorry for the poor pictures.  At first I tried to explain to my 3 year old how to take a picture of mommy's boots but you can imagine how that went.  These pictures I took holding my camera out in front of me and blindly shooting.  Thank goodness for long arms.
See?  Wasn't that easy?  So for $7.99 you have 2 pillows and 2 pairs of boot socks.  Not to shabby.
