Kids Shared Room

I have come to a stopping point in my kids room for now.  If any of you know me, you know that it will probably be changed by the end of the week but I am posting about it now because I don't want to clean it again.;)
First let me start by showing you a project I recently completed.  I had this clock in my daughter's old room and it didn't work.  It was also blue which is a color I am replacing in the room with orange.
I removed the clock and spray painted it orange.
I then put in a mirror I bought at Michael's for $5.99.

Now it hangs over my son's bed.

Here is the rest of the room:

My daughter's bed. My husband made the headboard and that is a full size mattress.

 My son's bed.

Here is the closet.  I haven't decided whether to put up doors or curtains over the closet.  For right now it is pretty organized so it will do.

I made some poufs and hung them in a cluster above my daughter's bed along with a paper lantern.  I may add to this over time.
I made all of the pink and orange pillows using twin sheets from Walmart.

That's it!  Have a good day.

  1. Idea for the closet in case you would like one? You can get flat panel closet doors for pretty inexpensive and paint with chalkboard paint and or magnet paint.
