From bookshelf to planter

Remember the pallet bookshelves we made for the kids room?

As you can see from my previous post, when I redid that room the bookshelves did not make the cut.  I have seen numerous pictures on the internet with pallet planters.  In most of them they use the entire pallet and lean it up against a wall.  Since we essentially had 2 boxes I had J hang them on the wall next to the walkway to our front porch, one above the other.  Oh, and I am also loving succulents these days. So it was a no-brain-er: succulent planter boxes.

Now I am hoping they will fill in and spill over the edge.  Don't you love succulents too?
