Guest Bath

We went into this project thinking it would be quick and easy.  I don't know why we ever think that?  It always takes longer than you think.  My husband and I said numerous times throughout this project, "Why can't anything be easy?"  The end result was worth it, but just barely.  Rant over.  Here we go.
Our plan was to replace the tile with the same stuff in our master, replace the sink and vanity top, paint the walls, replace the light, and frame out the mirror.  Here is what it looked like previously.
It wasn't bad, obviously.  The tile was old and I wasn't digging the color or the sink anymore.  I know some of you are rolling your eyes (I am calling you out sisters!).
Here are some during pictures:

As you can see I chose a blue color for the walls.  I HATED it.  It was more green than blue and since the room does not have a window it was really dark in there.  So I repainted(yes, for the second time in 3 days) the gray color that is the rest of our house (Dolphin Fin by Behr).

I put round stickers on the yellow stool and sprayed it orange.  Polka dot stool.
 The new wood vanity.
New sink and faucet to match the master.
Found the rug on clearance at Target for $8.

You saw on Facebook where I made this artwork.  I think it was actually an old MDF shelf insert that I just drew a design I like on.  Painted it and screwed it to the wall.  The orange stool is for supervising bathtime.

The measuring stick is pretty straight forward.  I had leftover planks from the wall in the master bath.  Measure out your inches and use Command strips to attach it to the walls.  The light is just a plug in light kit from World Market and a shade from West Elm.  I centered it over the sick with hook screws.  I had originally planned to use the same light as our other bathroom but this bathroom is way too dark to just have one light bulb.  I hung this light in front of the existing 5 light bulb light so it is pretty much just for decoration.
This is what the bathroom looks like with just the pendant on.  Kinda cool!
