Vistoso Drug

My husband and his brother are opening their third location,Vistoso Drug, tomorrow.  I went in and took a few pictures before the doors open.

When they opened their first pharmacy they wanted to make it stand out from other pharmacies.  They wanted it to feel like an old fashion drug store.  They have a 'formula' that really helps them get that feel.

If I had all the 'features' in my home that this pharmacy boasts, I would be stoked.
Beautiful white built-ins.

Globe lights with Edison light bulbs.
 Red leather sofa and chair.
Isn't that built-in awesome?  They put a vintage cash register in the center of it.  Awesome.
The old fashion scales, coffee grinders, and teapots are for sale.
 Marble counter top.  Swoon.
The television is mounted inside the wall with thick white molding around it. Oh, and the floors? Hand scraped wood floors.  No big deal.

This is the hallway leading down to the restroom.
One of those pictures is actually a print of their great grandfather Howard Long's food store (he is the one on the left).  Cool stores run in the family.
This is the actual flyer from his opening circa 1930.  Isn't that great?

Now wouldn't you rather pick up your prescription at a pharmacy like this? Let me paint you a little picture... your are sitting on the sofa enjoying a cup of coffee with jazz music playing in the background while a very handsome pharmacist is filling your prescription. Go check it out!  Tell 'em I sent ya (I cannot gaurantee what kind of reaction you will recieve).
