Tweaks

You know after returning from a vacation you just want to DO something (No? Just me?)?  Anyway, I decided to make a few changes or 'tweaks' around my house to alleviate that post vacation letdown.  Nothing big, just different. 
I have always liked Anthropologie's metal letters but at $18 a pop they were a no-can-do.  But, you can buy cardboard letters at Joanns for $2.50 and spray paint them to look like metal.  Sold.  I, of course, jumped on the E A T in the kitchen bandwagon (just in case you forget what to do in a kitchen?).

 But Anna, that is an I not a T.  I know, they were sold out of Ts so I chopped off the ends and used them to patch the hole.  You would never know (except now I told you so you do know).  I hung them over my sink.

 I spray painted them black first and then the silver.  I think it makes them look more metal-y.

And where is the R you saw in the previous picture, you ask?  I switched up my entry room wall.  Picture collage.

It is not perfect, but I am waiting on a card catalog revamp to be complete and then I am going to rehang all of the picture frames.  I just realized, in the last week, I have moved something around in every room of my house.  I know, it is a disease.  This blog is revealing all my OCD tendencies. ;)
