Moved In

We have internet again!  I guess this post title is a little misleading.  We are not fully moved in.  We have a few more trips to get all our stuff into the new place and then who knows how long until we have it all put away/stored away.  Anyway, for the sake of my sanity we have our living areas in working order.
We love the new kitchen. With so many of our family members close by we like to have them over often.  I am so glad this house allows us to do that.
In the last post I showed you the finished kitchen/living room.  Now here it is with all our stuff:

 It is surprising how much bigger a space feels with your stuff IN it.  It seems like it would be the other way around.  I thought our stuff was going to look huge in here but it fits nicely.

 I put my collection of globes above the refrigerator.  I hung my oversized ruler on the wall next to the pantry.  And then put the big red 'R' above the door.

 I had originally planned on using a round white table I already had as my dining room table but the shape didn't really work.  This table was the one I had planned on having outside but it works great in here and would have gotten ruined under this AZ sun.

 The pictures my sister painted of our kids are up with room for us to hang our now 1 year old son's picture when she finishes. One year old.  Time flies!

We are going to add open shelves above the coffee maker sometime in the future.

So there is our great room as of a few days ago.  We have since added the pulls/knobs on the cabinets and put our TV up on the wall.  When you are moving in something changes every day so I will be back with more rooms and more projects.
